Redhealth is owned by Cartwheel Penny Associates Ltd, an independent group who support tech start-ups and other businesses.

Redhealth has been designed to help consumers connect with other likeminded people, sharing similar fitness and health ambitions. In doing so, relevant and agreed upon personal information is also shared and stored securely by Redhealth.

How we use and what personal information is collected

On mobile devices we use an alternative to cookies which is part of the device’s built in storage. We only store the minimum amount of data in this device storage required for the proper functioning of the app. The data stored in this device storage will not be shared with any other app installed on the device or shared with any other third parties. If you would like to delete this data, you may do so at any time, from the device settings, but this may require you to log into the app again to access proper functionality.

Redhealth may use some ads to generate revenue to keep the app running. We will not share any user data to tailor these ads.

The reason for this is we only store the minimum amount of data and this data is required for the app to function properly for the user
  • Retention periods: if the consumer decides to cease using our services, all information and data about the consumer will be permanently deleted and not stored for future use

We regularly collect anonymised, collated data as part of our usage statistics and analytics platform This data is excluded from our privacy policy.

All data included in this privacy policy will be instantly deleted if account closure is requested from within the account settings page of the app.

Sharing

Redhealth currently allows the creation of several different post types, by default if the user has no added friends, all of these post types are kept private.

If the user has added friends, then the following post types (including any attached media, such as photos, images, or videos) will be shared with the users that are friends: Exercise Log, Event and Review, along with the user's profile picture and name.

If the user removes a friend from their friends list, then this user will no longer be able to see any of the shared posts or the user's profile picture unless they are found from the search screen subsequently.

How we keep your information secure

Data retention:

We only keep your information for as long as necessary and for the purpose the data collection was intended for. Data is retained to be able to comply with our legal requirements or to resolve any disputes. Personal data is only retained for as long as you maintain an account with us or provide you with a service.

Where we no longer need to process your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we will delete your Personal Data from our systems. If you decide not to continue with our service and would like your personal data deleted or have any questions about data retention, please contact us on the details below.

Security:

We value your privacy and review and develop our security controls to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information remains secure.

We have systems and processes in place that protect our consumers against unlawful processing of personal data. Please note: we cannot fully prevent security risks relating to the transmission or storage of personal data.

If you choose, you do not have to receive any marketing material and can opt out of this if you prefer. You can opt out at the registration stage or within the privacy settings, managed within your personal profile.
